FAQ's

First visit appointments for new patients typically last 90 minutes depending on history and conditions.  In this time frame, the practitioner will gather an extensive history and analyze your genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors which may contribute to chronic illness. We will also conduct a comprehensive physical and order further lab testing, as indicated.

Follow up visits will typically take 30-60 minutes, during which time the practitioner will review and explain lab results and prescribe a customized treatment plan for the patient.  Additional follow ups are scheduled on an individual basis. 

Based on the information provided on your history, physical exam, and test results, we will create a personalized treatment plan that will put you in control, and will teach you the skills needed to prevent disease and maintain optimal health. 

We do not bill insurance companies for your office visits. However, bloodwork is covered. We are happy to provide you with a superbill containing diagnostic and treatment codes that you may submit to your insurance company. You may be able to get some reimbursement based on your personal benefits. Filling out an insurance claim form is very straightforward and should  not take you more than 10 minutes.

We fully understand the financial challenge this presents to some of our patients, and wish there were a way for us to bill your insurance company. Unfortunately, this isn’t possible with the current state of healthcare. Insurance companies are heavily invested in the conventional health model that relies on drugs, surgery and brief, tightly scheduled office visits - not on preventive or wellness services. We are committed to finding and addressing the underlying causes of your illness, which cannot be done in a typical 15-minute doctor visit

The initial 90 minute appointment costs $299. Follow up appointments are $149.
